*”A very warm welcome from the owner on arrival, the lodge was very clean with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Comfortable clean beds and cosy sofa and chairs. The kitchen was well equipped and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk etc was provided. Our two little dogs were made to feel at home with their own little welcome pack of biscuits, water dish and clean towels for drying them after walkies. The location was central for the Lakes District , Fylde Coast and Lune Valley. Shops, restaurants and entertainment for all ages not too far. Swimming pool, fitness centre and restaurant on site very good. Plenty of walks for the dogs. All in all a very enjoyable week and we will book again.”*

The living area leads on to a nice terrace area with table and chairs for al fresco dining. Also safe for kids to play as the only access is from the living area.
