Walking For All
You will be spoilt for choice! Whether setting off from the lodge along the canal or walk through the rich landscapes of the forrest of Bowland. Walk parts of the coastal way taking in Arnside Village, Knott, Walton Cragg, Siverdale or other areas of outstanding natural beauty. Alternitvley you could take to the lovely lanes from the village by bike or car to the Crook 'O' Lune and walk along the river lune or take to the paths in the Forrest Of Bowland. South Lakland Fells are also just 15 Minutes away.
Cycling For All
Lots of circular routes using quiet country lanes or canal toe path. Not too hilly for the less energetic or some more challenging routes for the fit. More ideas and maps in the area can be downloaded using these links from the celebrating cycling website. Also available is the new NCN north of England map with routes accross five national parks using the national cycling routes.

Fishing For All
Whether trying for the first time an experiance angular, there is no charge for our guests fishing on our well stocked lake which includes pike, perch and roach. For the more advanced angular we are situated in close proximaty to many other venues such as Borwick Waters, The Villas and Tewitfelild Fly Fishing and Trout Fishery.
Tewitfield fly fishing and trout fishery, Situated about 1/4 mile away.
The Villas, Rod Fishing available, 5 ponds situated across the road.
Borwick Waters, Situated about 1/4 mile away, 9 waters from .25 acres to 15 acres carp and pike over 30lb, tench 10lb, eels 6lb. - roach, perch, chub, dace, barbel, ide, ghosties...

fishing reels, fishing clothing, fishing accessories and much much more.
